4 General Requirements
4.1 General Requirements
4.1.1 All personnel involved in assembly shall pass three-level safety education and job skill training. Special operation personnel (crane operators, dedicated equipment operators) shall hold corresponding qualification certificates before starting work. Operators for critical processes and special processes shall undergo training and pass the assessment before starting work.
4.1.2 Before assembly, the model and specification of all parts shall be checked to ensure they meet the requirements of the configuration list.
4.1.3 Before assembly, components entering the assembly area shall be checked. Assembly may proceed only after meeting the following requirements:
a) They have passed inspection and bear a qualified mark;
b) Key dimensions and numbers of critical components are rechecked, and records are made in the quality assurance card;
c) Fitting dimensions adjusted by fitters are re-inspected by the quality inspection department of the complete machine manufacturer, and records are made in the quality assurance card.
4.1.4 For each assembly step, there shall be an assembly process control card. Records shall be made and filed in the wind turbine generator system archive.
4.1.5 Parts shall be cleaned or washed before assembly. They shall be free of burrs, flash, scale, rust, chips, oil stains, paints, dust, etc. Unless otherwise specified, sharp corners and edges of parts shall be chamfered before assembly. Fitting surfaces with sharp corners or high points shall be trimmed before assembly. During assembly, parts shall not be bumped, knocked, scratched, or rusted.
4.1.6 The anti-corrosion layer damaged due to assembly, handling, etc., and the exposed machined surfaces after assembly shall undergo secondary anti-corrosion treatment. Specific anti-corrosion requirements are detailed in Appendix A.
4.1.7 Before hoisting, check that the used lifting appliances, slings, lifting equipment, etc., comply with safe hoisting requirements. All lifting slings and appliances shall be within their calibration and maintenance cycle and bear an inspection mark. Protective pads shall be added to positions (components, slings/appliances) that may be damaged during hoisting.
4.1.8 Measuring tools, hydraulic tools, and tightening tools shall be calibrated and within their validity period.
4.1.9 Equipment and special tools shall be checked for their operational status before use and may only be used after confirming no abnormalities.
4.1.10 After assembly, all lubrication points of components shall be filled with lubricating oil or grease according to the assembly procedure. Unless otherwise specified, different types or brands of oils and greases shall not be mixed.
4.2 Connection Requirements
4.2.1 Screw, Bolt, and Stud Connections
4.2.1.1 The tightening of fasteners shall be performed according to design requirements. Methods such as the torque method, tensioning method, or torque-angle method shall be used during tightening. Torque wrenches or tensioners shall be used. The permissible deviation for torque wrenches is ±5%, and for tensioners is ±3%.
4.2.1.2 For fasteners with specified tightening torque, the specified tightening tools shall be used to tighten to the specified torque. For fasteners without specified tightening torque, the preload and tightening torque during assembly are given in Appendix B.
4.2.1.3 For bolt or stud assemblies, when installing washers, the chamfered side shall face the nut and the bolt head bearing surface respectively. When installing nuts, the end with the marking shall face outward. Before installation, perform the following operations:
a) Check the assembly surface for burrs, damaged threads, zinc nodules;
b) For bolts, screws, studs of size M16 (inclusive) and above tightened using the torque method, uniformly apply anti-seize compound on the effective thread engagement areas and on the contact surfaces of washers, nuts, or bolt heads according to the relevant requirements of GB/T 33628;
c) For bolts, screws, studs below size M16 tightened using the torque method, uniformly apply threadlocker on the effective thread engagement areas (except for self-locking nuts).
4.2.1.4 When multiple bolts or screws are used to connect the same part, Arabic numerals shall be marked on the fastener heads to indicate the tightening sequence. The marking method for the tightening sequence numbers based on the distribution pattern of the fasteners is shown in Figures 1 to 3. Tightening shall follow the principles of crossing, symmetry, step-by-step, and uniformity. If positioning pins are present, tightening shall start from the positioning pins unless otherwise specified.
4.2.2.1 When assembling a tapered pin, a bluing check shall be performed with the hole. The conbled into the related parts, its tail shall be spread open, with a spreading angle of 60° to 90°.tact ratio shall not be less than 60% of the fitting length and shall be evenly distributed.
4.2.2.2 The end face of a positioning pin shall protrude from the surface of the part. After a slotted tapered pin is assembled into the related parts, its large end shall be recessed into the hole.
4.2.2.3 After a split pin is assem
