1 Scope
This part specifies the general principles, technical requirements, data structures, application interfaces and application security of the dedicated short range communication equipment for electronic toll collection (ETC).
This part is applicable to the electronic toll collection systems for highways, and may also be used for reference by automatic vehicle identification (AVI), vehicle access management, urban road toll collection, etc.
