3.1
double knife
leather-roller cotton gin component that performs rotational motion, impacts seed cotton, and separates fibers from cottonseeds
3.2
moving knife
leather-roller cotton gin component that performs reciprocating motion, impacts seed cotton, and separates fibers from cottonseeds
3.3
fixed knife
leather-roller cotton gin component that is relatively fixed, exerts a blocking effect on seed cotton, and separates fibers from cottonseeds
3.4
covered roller
component with a wooden stick core whose outer layer is wrapped in strips of leather (of uniform thickness) arranged in a spiral pattern

4 Product model
The composition of the product model is shown in Figure 1.
Figure 1: Diagram of Product Model Composition
Example:
MYPC-100B, where M represents a cotton processing machine, Y represents a gin machine, P represents a skin roll, C represents a punching knife type, 100 represents a skin roll working length of 1000 mm, and B represents a second improvement, which represents a punching knife type skin roll gin having a working length of 1000 mm after the second improvement.
5 Technical Requirements
5.1 Appearance
5.1.1 The outer surface of the product shall be smooth, flat, and aesthetically pleasing, with uniform and firmly applied paint, free from bubbles or missed spots.
5.1.2 Exposed machined surfaces of components shall undergo anti-corrosion treatment.
5.2 Major Components
5.2.1 The roller ginning machine primarily consists of four main components: cleaning cylinder, rotary knife, fixed knife, and roller. A simplified diagram of these components is shown in Figure 2.
5.2.2 The cleaning cylinder shall undergo dynamic balance testing, with allowable imbalance complying with Appendix A. The balance quality grade shall not be lower than G16 as specified in GB/T 9239.1-2006.
5.2.3 The radial runout of the roller shall not exceed 1.5 mm.
5.2.4 The rotary knife shall be smooth and free from burrs.
5.2.5 The radial runout of the rotary knife shall not exceed 0.3 mm.
5.2.6 The fixed knife shall be free from cracks or pits, smooth, burr-free, and have a straight cutting edge.
5.2.7 The fixed knife shall be free from cracks or pits, smooth, burr-free, and have a straight cutting edge.
5.3 Machine Performance
5.3.1 After assembly, the straightness of the cutting edge of the fixed knife shall not exceed 0.5 mm within a 500 mm range.
5.3.2 After assembly, the straightness of the cutting edge of the fixed knife shall not exceed 0.5 mm within a 500 mm range.
5.3.3 All moving parts shall operate smoothly without collisions, and fasteners shall remain secure without loosening.
5.3.4 During continuous operation for 30 minutes, the temperature rise at roller bearings and rotary knife bearings shall not exceed 20°C.
5.3.5 The no-load noise shall not exceed 85 dB(A).
