本标准规定了采用气相色谱、液相色谱测定叔丁基对苯二酚(TBHQ)的原理、试剂、仪器和设备、分析步骤、结果计算及精密度。本标准适用于较低熔点的食用植物油中TBHQ含量的测定。本标准不适用于熔点高于35℃以上的食用植物油中TBHQ含量的测定。本标准定量限：气相色谱法为0.001g/kg，液相色谱法为0.006g/kg。本标准中气相色谱法为仲裁方法。
