本标准规定了架空电力线路间隔棒的技术条件和试验方法。本标准适用于交、直流架空电力线路双分裂及以上的多分裂导线所用的刚性间隔棒、柔性间隔棒及阻尼间隔棒。但不适用于相间间隔棒及跳线间隔棒。
