1 Scope
This standard specifies the high performance liquid chromatography - tandem mass spectrometry method for the determination of perfluorooctane sulfonates (PFOS) in the fluorine-containing products and consumer products.
This standard is applicable to the determination of perfluorooctane sulfonates (PFOS) in fluorine-containing products and consumer products. Fluorine-containing products include fluorine-containing waterborne coating, foam extinguishing material, detergent and textile finishing agent; consumer products refer in particular to non-stick cookware.
The method detection limit of this standard is calculated in perfluorooctane sulfonate, 0.0002% mass fraction for fluorine-containing products and 0.4μg/m2 for consumer products.
