4.1 Product classification
Products are classified according to the following types.
a) classified according to the manufacturing process:
ply untwisted roving
direct untwisted roving.
b) classified according to the application process:
cropped untwisted roving (represented by C), e.g., jet, moulding, etc.;
non-cropped untwisted roving (represented by W), e.g. winding, weaving, pultrusion, extruded granulation, etc.
