GB/T 25045-2025 Basalt fiber roving
1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of basalt fiber roving.
This document is applicable to basalt fiber ply untwisted roving and direct untwisted roving.

cluster of multiple parallel basalt fiber strands or single basalt fiber strands untwisted
Note: It includes basalt fiber ply untwisted roving and basalt fiber direct untwisted roving.
4 Classification and labeling
4.1 Product classification
Products are classified according to the following types.
a) classified according to the manufacturing process:
ply untwisted roving
direct untwisted roving.
b) classified according to the application process:
cropped untwisted roving (represented by C), e.g., jet, moulding, etc.;
non-cropped untwisted roving (represented by W), e.g. winding, weaving, pultrusion, extruded granulation, etc.
