Wind turbine generator system — Rotor blades
1 Scope
This standard specifies the general technical conditions of rotor blades of wind turbine generator systems.
This standard is applicable to the rotor blades of horizontal-axis wind turbine generator system with an area swept by the wind wheel equal to or greater than 40 m2.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions as well as those defined in GB/T 2900.53, IEC 61400-1:2005 and GB/T 3961 apply.
3.1
design life
design service life under design conditions
3.2
rotor
wind turbine component composed of blades and hubs, which converts wind energy into mechanical energy
3.3
blade
component that makes the rotor rotate and generate aerodynamic force
3.4
reference chord
geometric chord of the blade at a certain position in the process of blade design, and the geometric chords of other positions of the blade take this position as reference; its position generally defined as 0°, that is, where the geometric chord is parallel to the rotation plane of the wind wheel
3.5
twist angle
angle between the local geometric chord and the reference chord of the blade
3.6
median line
curve that smoothly connects the inscribed circle centers of the upper and lower surfaces of the airfoil; in the front, the tangent point between the minimum inscribed circle and the airfoil contour is the starting point of the median line; at the tail, the tangent point between the minimum inscribed circle and the airfoil contour is the end point of the median line
