Portable spot welding machines
1 Scope
This standard specifies the general technical requirements, inspection methods and inspection rules for portable spot welding machines (hereinafter referred to as "welding machines").
This standard is applicable to the welding machines powered by voltages not exceeding those specified in GB/T 156-2007, Table 1 or driven by mechanical equipment, including those for individual and multi-station use.
The resistance welding controller (hereinafter referred to as the "controller") and the welding machine may be integrated or separated, but this standard applies regardless of the form of construction.
Note: This standard does not address electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements.
