Note: The system consists of refrigeration units, cool storage media, cool storage devices or containers, heat rejection equipment or systems, and other auxiliary equipment, or is a subsystem of the overall refrigeration system. 3.1.2 cool storage device A container and cool storage space for storing cooling capacity. Note: Includes secondary refrigerants and auxiliary equipment such as heat exchangers, agitators, circulating pumps, flow regulators, valves and baffles. 3.1.3 cool storage cycle An alternating process of charging and discharging cooling capacity completed in a cool storage device.
