1 Scope
This Standard specifies terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, defect classification and acceptance judgment principle of model products.
This Standard is applicable to model products whose working voltage is less than or equal to 36V or uncharged model products that are intended for over-14-year teenagers and adults to collect, play or use, including static or dynamic aerospace model, marine model and vehicle model etc.
Additional requirements for collection model products are given in Appendix A (normative).
This Standard is not applicable to the following products:
- Special competition model;
- Non-commercial model products;
- Internal-combustion-engine-driven model products;
- Kites.
Note: transformer and battery charger are not considered as models, even though they are provided together with models.
