本标准适用于标称电压高于1000V 低于300kV(GB311.1定义的范围Ⅰ)、频率不大于100Hz的交流系统中用的电气装置或设备上使用在大气条件下的户内有机材料支柱绝缘子。本标准不包括复合绝缘子。
本标准的目的是:
———定义使用的术语;
———规定有机材料支柱绝缘子的电气和机械特性,并规定检验这些特性规定值的条件;
———规定试验方法;
———规定接收准则。
本标准不给出支柱绝缘子特性的数值,也不涉及特定运行条件下的支柱绝缘子选择。GB/T8287.2规定了电气和机械特性的数值并给出了支柱绝缘子互换性所需的尺寸。
