1 Scope
This standard specifies the general principles, procedures and methods for risk management of consumer product safety.
This standard is applicable to all parties involved in consumer product safety to carry out risk management of consumer product safety at all stages of the consumer product life cycle.

intended use
use of a product, process or service in accordance with information provided by the supplier

Note 1: It is revised from Definition 3.3.3 in GB/T 23694-2009.
Note 2: Such elements may include sources or hazards, events, consequences and probability.

actions taken to lessen negative consequences of risks, their probability of occurrence or achieve both of the above
