GB/T 29532-2013 General specification for steel precision hot die forgings English
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and delivery conditions of steel precision hot forgings (hereinafter referred to as “the forgings”).
This standard is applicable to the hot forgings of rotary body with a mass of less than 18 kg and an outer diameter of not more than 230 mm, which are produced with high-precision dies, special die bases and equipment.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following term and definition apply.
3.1
steel precision hot forgings
hot forgings that obtain a high dimensional accuracy through high-precision dies, special die bases and equipment and that meet the mass tolerance requirements in the temperature range of hot forging process
4 Requirements
4.1 Acceptance bases
The forging drawing, technical agreement, inspection method list and supply contract signed by the supplier and purchaser are the main basis for the inspection and delivery of the forgings.
4.2 Raw material
4.2.1 The steels selected for the forgings shall meet the requirements of GB/T 699, GB/T 700, GB/T 3077 and GB/T 5216.
4.2.2 In addition to those specified in 4.2.1, enterprise standards or special technical agreements signed with steel suppliers may be adopted as additional requirements of steels selected for the forgings for different forging manufacturers.
4.2.3 The selected steel shall be re-inspected and judged as acceptable before putting into production. Re-inspection items shall be determined according to steel inspection standards.
