1 Scope
This standard specifies the electron and laser beam welding procedure test method.
This standard is applicable to electron and laser beam welding of various metallic materials.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 19866, GB/T 19867.3 and GB/T 19867.4 apply.
4 Preliminary welding procedure specification (pWPS)
A pWPS (preliminary welding procedure specification) shall be prepared in accordance with GB/T 19867.3 for electron beam welding and GB/T 19867.4 for laser beam welding. It shall specify the tolerances for all the relevant parameters.
5 Welding procedure test
The welding and testing of test pieces shall be in accordance with Clauses 6 and 7 of this standard.
The quality imperfections in electron and laser beam welding of steel, aluminium and aluminium alloys may be qualified in accordance with GB/T 22085.1 and GB/T 22085.2.
The specific level requirements shall be determined according to product standards (or design requirements).
