Graduations and test method of sand and dust resistance performance for building external windows and doors
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, graduations, test devices, test preparation, test steps, result evaluation and test reports of sand and dust resistance performance for building external windows and doors.
This standard is applicable to the graduations and laboratory tests of sand and dust resistance performance for building external windows and doors. The test objects are limited to the specimens of external windows and doors, not involving the connection parts between the external windows and doors and the enclosure structure.
2 Normative references
The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies.
GB/T 6921 Determination of the concentration of airborne particulate matters
GB/T 7106 Graduations and test methods of air permeability, watertightness, wind load resistance performance for building external windows and doors
3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
sand and dust resistance performance
generic term of sand resistance performance and dust resistance performance
3.2
sand resistance performance
ability to prevent sand from entering the room under the action of wind and sand when the external doors and windows are normally closed
3.3
dust resistance performance
ability to prevent dust from entering the room under the action of wind and dust when the external doors and windows are normally closed
4 Graduations
4.1 Performance indexes
4.1.1 When the pressure difference is 400Pa, the mass (M) of sand entering the room through the unit opening gap length of external doors and windows within 15min is taken as the graduation index of sand resistance performance.
4.1.2 When the pressure difference is 400Pa, the mass (C) of inhalable particle matters entering the room through the unit area of external doors and windows within 15min is taken as the graduation index of dust resistance performance.
4.2 Graduations of performance
4.2.1 See Table 1 for the graduation indexes of sand resistance performance for building external doors and windows.
