Usability of system and software——Part 1: Indicator system
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 29836 gives the indicator system framework for usability of system and software and the definition of related indicators, stipulates the quality characteristic for the usability of the system and software and provides the supplier, acquirer and third-party evaluation and test organization with a unified indicator system for the usability.
This part is applicable to all kinds of systems and software with human-computer interaction, and users can choose appropriate usability indicators according to specific products. This part is not applicable to the systems and software without human-computer interaction function or usability needs during use.
Note: The systems referred to in this part are mainly software systems.

degree to which a product can be used by a specific user for a specific purpose under a specific use environment
3.2
indicator
measurable attributes of entities
3.3
indicator system
system composed of indicators defined by several main features, reflecting the essence of this phenomenon
Note: Indicator system is a systematic and closely related group of indicators reflecting the whole evaluation object, or a collection of specific indicators.
