1 Scope
This standard specifies the determination methods of 9 carcinogenic dyestuffs in dyed leather and fur products as well as disperse yellow 23 and disperse orange 149 which can release harmful aromatic amines through splitting decomposition.
This standard is applicable to dyed leather and fur products.
2 Normative references
The following documents for the application of this document are essential. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies.
GB/T 6682 Water for analytical laboratory use—Specification and test methods
QB/T 1267 Finished fur products—Sample piece—Position and marking
QB/T 1272 Finished fur products—Preparation of chemical analysis sample and general rules for chemical analysis
QB/T 2706 Leather—Chemical physical and mechanical and fastness tests—Sampling location
QB/T 2716 Leather—Preparation of chemical test samples
3 Principle
The sample is extracted by ultrasonic wave of methanol and filtered by filter membrane. The sample is determined and confirmed by high-performance liquid chromatography with diode array detector (HPLC-DAD) or high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS), and quantified by external standard method.
4 Reagents
Unless otherwise specified, analytically-pure reagents and Class-II water defined in compliant to GB/T 6682 are adopted for the purpose of the analysis.
4.1 Acetonitrile, Grade HPLC.
4.2 Methanol, Grade HPLC.
