1 Scope
This standard specifies the test method for determination of dissolved residues content in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG); the determination range is 40~100mg/kg and may be controlled through adjusting the sample quantity if the residues content is higher.
Note: residues with content beyond the range of 40~100mg/kg may be determined through this standard, but the precision beyond the residues content range of 20~100mg/kg is not inspected and its applicability is not verified.
Determination of dissolved residues refers to volatilize the sample under environmental temperature and dry at 105℃ and then inspect with gas chromatography.
This standard is not applicable to the determination of solid sample and high molecular polymer (>1000g/mol).
