1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test method and marking for permissible errors for measurement of mass of polished diamond.
This standard is applicable to the trade and quality supervision of polished diamonds settled by mass.
This standard is applicable to single polished diamond with a mass greater than or equal to 0.0400 g (0.20 ct); for single polished diamond with a mass less than 0.0400 g (0.20 ct) or polished diamonds set in clusters or settled in bulk, this standard may be used as a reference.
