1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, model and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of harmonic gear reducers for robots.
This standard is applicable to the harmonic gear reducers for robots (hereinafter referred to as "reducers").

a kind of transmission gear making flexspline generate controllable elastic deformation wave relying on wave generator, and also realizing motion and power transmission by interacting with the circular gear, with input and output rotation in opposite directions, i.e., the wave generator inputs, the circular gear is fixed and the flexspline outputs; the flexspline is fixed and the circular gear outputs
