1 Scope
This standard specifies the headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry for the determination of dioxane residues in cosmetics.
This standard is applicable to the determination of dioxane residues in creams, lotions and shampoos.
The detection limit of dioxane specified in this standard is 0.8mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 2.5mg/kg.
