1 Scope
This standard specifies the general safety requirements, test conditions, precision of test instrument, routine test before subzero test, subzero test method and test report of proton exchange membrane fuel cell stack at subzero (below 0℃) environment.
This standard is applicable to the test for storage, startup and working performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cell stack at subzero (below 0℃) environment.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 28816 and the following apply.
3.1
climate chamber
apparatus, of which the temperature and humidity may be stably controlled according to the test requirements and inside of which tested fuel cell stack may be placed
3.2
coolant
cycling medium that there is no phase change at subzero environment below 0℃, no physical or chemical influence on the fuel cell stack material, and can exchange the heat of fuel cell stack to the external environment after being injected in the cooling chamber of fuel cell stack when the fuel cell stack is operating
3.3
auxiliary electric energy input
consumption of electric energy when the fuel cell stack is started at subzero environment, which is expressed in J; the calculation formula is as follows:
