1 Scope
This standard specifies the safety specification for the design of industrial type stairs, working platforms and walkways.
This standard is applicable to industrial type stairs, working platforms and walkways of fixed facilities entering into the machinery.
This standard is also applicable to industrial type stairs, working platforms and walkways not fixed on the machine but may be required to be removed or moved aside (e.g. tools for changing large-size press) during operation.
Other industrial type stairs, working platforms and walkways may be used by reference.
