GB/T 31901-2024 Code of practice for garment evaluation by wearer trials
1 Scope
This document defines the terms and definitions of garment evaluation by wearer trials and describes the garment wearer trial and specific evaluation method.
This document is applicable to trials that evaluate individual performance or overall performance of garments within a specified time or quantity scale.
This document is not applicable to wearer evaluation of garments for infants aged 36 months and below.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
wearer trial
controlled test conducted by wearers on garment-related items
3.2
wearer
participant in the trial who tries on garments
3.3
trial organizer
person responsible for organizing, planning, and designing all aspects of the trial
3.4
population
Identifiable consumer groups of apparel supplies
3.5
overall performance
overall perception evaluation of a wearer after trying on a garment product
4 Principle
From the target population of the garment product, a certain number of suitable wearers shall be selected to conduct wearer trials within a specified time under normal wearing, washing, and other conditions. The wearers shall evaluate the individual or overall performance of the garment based on their own wearing experience, and the trial organizer shall analyze the results obtained from the trial.
