3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
base fabric
unprocessed fabric absent from coating and other dyeing and finishing processes that is used for manufacturing garment interlining
3.2
woven interlining
garment interlining suffering from coating and other dyeing and finishing processes with woven fabric as the base fabric
3.3
knitted interlining
garment interlining suffering from coating and other dyeing and finishing processes with knitted fabric as the base fabric
3.4
nonwoven interlining
garment interlining suffering from coating and other dyeing and finishing processes with nonwoven fabric as the base fabric
3.5
hot-melt adhesive film interlining
garment interlining suffering from hot melt, scraping and other processes with hot-melt adhesive as raw material
Note: Hot-melt adhesive film interlining includes membrane and omental products.
4 Product classification and identification
4.1 Product classification
4.1.1 Products are classified into woven interlining, knitted interlining and nonwoven interlining.
4.1.2 Knitted interlining includes weft knitted interlining, weft-lined warp knitted interlining, and biaxial warp knitted interlining.
4.1.3 Nonwoven lining includes nonwoven adhesive interlining and hot-melt adhesive film interlining.
4.2 Product identification
4.2.1 Woven interlining
The product identification shall include: raw material code and blending ratio warp yarn density (tex/dtex)/weft yarn density (tex/dtex) warp density (threads/10cm)/weft density (threads/10cm) breadth (cm) fabric weave mass per unit area (g/m2) type of rubber powder (two or more rubber powders are connected with the symbol "+")-number of glue points per unit area (points/cm2) net (dots) pattern (regular or irregular).
Example: T/C 65/35 28.1 tex/28.1 tex 212.0/216.0 110 plain weave 165 HDPE + PES-161 irregular. It represents 65% polyester 35% and cotton blended yarn, warp yarn density 28.1 tex, weft yarn density 28.1 tex, warp density 212.0 threads/10cm, weft density 216.0 threads/10cm, breadth 110cm, plain fabric weave, mass per unit area 165g/m2, HDPE+PES rubber powder, number of glue points per unit area 161 points/cm2, irregular net pattern.
Note: Products coated with film include the layer number of laminating and the type of adhesive film.
