1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic safety technical requirements, inspection, judgment rules and marking of recycled fiber.
This standard is applicable to the production, processing and sales of recycled fibers.

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

recycled fiber
fiber that made of fiber waste, fiber products and waste, and processed by opening and other methods
3.2
sensory odors
abnormal odor emitted by recycled fibers, including musty smell, high boiling range petroleum smell (such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel oil), fishy smell, aromatic hydrocarbon smell, goaty smell, urine smell, etc.
3.3
free residual chlorine
chlorines in the form of hypochlorous acid, hypochlorite ion and dissolved elemental chlorine
