本标准建立了湿法加工银胶型黑白照相反射胶片暗室储存规范。包括所有重量的银胶型照相胶片。
　　本标准适用于湿法加工银胶型黑白照相反射照片，包括经过化学处理（金、硒、硫磺或其它）提高银影像性能的胶片。也适用于显定合一加工的银胶型黑白照相照片，常规水洗后，硫代硫酸盐为定影剂。
　　本标准不适用直接加工的黑白照相胶片（未显影的卤化银经过化学处理后没有去除），或者热加工黑白胶片。它既不适用于彩色和染料型照相胶片，也不适用于显定合一加工用其它硫代硫酸盐类为定影剂的胶片。
本标准不适用于那些通过硫代硫酸盐转换成易溶解的银盐胶片和用于以聚乙烯为支持体展览的层压和附着的反转胶片。
