1 Scope
This standard specifies terms and definitions, symbols, models and designations of product, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and storage for continuously transposed conductors.
This standard is applicable to continuously transposed conductors for winding coils, e.g. power transformer, reactor and special transformer.

continuously transposed conductors
winding wire consisting of a number of enameled rectangular wires made into two strands with the wide faces mutually contacted, on and below which identically-oriented transposition is made along the narrow sides, and then continuously covered or bound together with electric insulation paper, rope or tape.
