1.1本标准规定了用气相色谱法测定工业用乙烯中甲烷、乙烷、丙烷、丁烷、异丁烷、丙烯、乙炔、丙二烯、顺一2一丁烯,1一丁烯、异丁烯、反一2一丁烯、甲基乙炔和1,3一丁二烯。由于本标准不能测定所有可能存在的杂质如CO,CO1,HzO,醇类、NO和拨基硫化物，以及高于癸烷的烃类，所以要全面表征乙烯样品还需要应用其他的试验方法。
