本标准规定了特大型空气分离设备（以下简称空分设备)的基本流程和型号，设计，出厂检验，标志、包装、运输及储存，安装，现场性能检验。
本标准适用于以低温法分离空气且氧产量不小于60 000 m3/h[本标准中氧、氮产量均为标准状态[0 ℃,101.325 kPa(A)]下的气体量;压力单位加上(A)为绝压,未注明者为表压。]、氧纯度（体积分数)不小于99.6%的空分设备。
