1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, working conditions, technical requirements, performance requirements for each system, safety requirements, equipment interconnection and interoperability requirements, equipment reliability requirements, equipment energy consumption requirements, and environmental protection requirements for Li-ion battery manufacturing equipment.
This standard is applicable to the design, manufacturing, inspection, acceptance, use and maintenance of Li-ion battery manufacturing equipment.

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
manufacturing system for Li-ion battery
system composed of inspecting system, slurry preparation system, electrode manufacturing system, jelly roll manufacturing system, cell assembly system, dry and filling system, formation and grading system, battery module assembly system, battery recovery system, etc., during the manufacture of Li-ion battery
3.2
inspecting system
system composed of a series of equipment that inspects relevant parameters or indicators during the manufacture of Li-ion battery
Note: It includes online incoming material inspecting equipment, electrode alignment inspecting equipment, electrode thickness inspecting equipment, etc.
3.3
slurry preparation system
system composed of a series of equipment that prepares slurry from active materials, binders, conductive agents and solvents
Note: It includes feeders with metering accuracy, slurry mixers, high-speed dispersers, etc.
3.4
electrode manufacturing system
system composed of a series of equipment that completes coating, rolling and slitting of positive electrode slurry and negative electrode slurry respectively
Note: It includes coating machines, roller presses, vacuum baking machines, slitting machines, etc.
