3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 8005.1 and the following apply.
3.1
recycling materials for pure aluminium
pure aluminium materials for investment casting that meet the relevant requirements of this document and are obtained from recycled aluminium after processing such as sorting
3.2
foreign material
non-metallic substance mixed in or attached to a material
Note: Including wood, textile, plastic, glass, stone, paper, sand, rubber, sludge, powder (powder, oil stain, crystalline salt, fiber powder, etc.) with a particle size of not greater than 2mm, and blocks covered with organic polymer coating, excluding the packaging material of this product and other substances that need to be used during transportation.
3.3
volatile substance
substance that may be separated from materials after proper heating treatment at a temperature below the melting point of the metal
3.4
metal recovery rate
proportion (mass fraction) of pure aluminium produced after the materials are subjected to pretreatment and smelting according to the methods specified herein
4 Classification
4.1 See Table 1 for the category, description, source and packaging method of materials and Annex A for the typical examples of material sources.
