1 Scope
This part of GB/T 4146 specifies the terms of inspection of man-made fibers and their raw materials in textiles.
This part is applicable to the concept communication of man-made fibers in fields such as production, application, business, scientific research and education.
2 Terms of Inspection
2.1 General Man-made Fibers
2.1.1
standard atmosphere
environment where the relative humidity and temperature are under control and textiles are subjected to conditioning and test at this ambient temperature
2.1.2
relative humidity
ratio of the actual pressure of vapor in atmosphere to saturation vapor pressure under same temperature and pressure conditions, which is expressed in percentage
2.1.3
preconditioning
a kind of treatment for making the sample or test specimen lower than conventional moisture regain before it is subjected to conditioning in standard atmosphere for testing
2.1.4
conditioning
a kind of treatment for making the sample or test specimen reach moisture equilibrium after it is placed in standard atmosphere for testing for a time
