1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage of lithium-ion rechargeable cells in spacecraft (hereinafter referred to as “rechargeable cells").
This document is applicable to lithium-ion rechargeable cells in spacecraft used for spacecrafts such as satellites, space stations and space probes.

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 2900.41 and the following apply.

Coulomb efficiency
ratio of the output capacity which a rechargeable cell is discharged to the input capacity with which it is charged
3.2
energy efficiency
ratio of the energy output at which a rechargeable cell is discharged to the energy input at which it is charged

cycling

5.1 General principles
The rechargeable cells shall meet the requirements of this document and the technical conditions of products provided by the manufacturer. If there is any inconsistent between this document and the technical conditions of products provided by the manufacturer, the technical conditions of products provided by the manufacturer shall prevail.
