Introduction
At present, Chinese consumers are more concerned about the green, safety and high quality of products, thus leading our society into the stage of sustained growth of consumer demand and accelerated upgrading of consumption structure. In order to further standardize the production order of furniture industry, improve the environmental protection quality of furniture and protect the health and safety of consumers, GB/T 42996 Guidelines for the control of key chemical substances in furniture is formulated and provides guidance for the detection and control suggestions on key chemical substances in furniture. GB/T 42996 consists of two parts, including:
——Part 1: Wooden furniture; aiming to determine the test methods and control suggestions of key chemical substances in wooden furniture.
——Part 2: Upholstered furniture; aiming to determine the test methods and control suggestions of key chemical substances in upholstered furniture.
Guidelines for the control of key chemical substances in furniture - Part 2: Upholstered furniture
