1 Scope
This document specifies the testing contents, testing methods and testing document collection of the software of motor vehicle inspection system of motor vehicle inspection institutions.
This document is applicable to the testing of the software of vehicle inspection system of vehicle inspection institutions.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 42685 and the following apply.

motor vehicle inspection institution
professional technical organization which is established in accordance with the laws and utilizes technical conditions and professional skills such as instruments, equipment and environmental facilities to inspect and test motor vehicles according to relevant standards and regulations.
3.2
motor vehicle inspection system
software and hardware system that comprehensively applies modern detection technology to inspect and test motor vehicles
Note 1: The software of the motor vehicle inspection system mainly includes those involved in business management, inspection control, data storage, equipment calibration/calibration, inspection process monitoring, inspection data collection and uploading, system self-inspection, etc.
Note 2: The hardware of the motor vehicle inspection system mainly includes those involved in instrument and equipment status monitoring, motor vehicle inspection process monitoring, inspection data collection and processing, and related information exchange and display.

validation testing carried out for the software of motor vehicle inspection system in accordance with relevant laws, regulations and standards
4 Testing contents
4.1 Functional testing content
4.1.1 General
The motor vehicle inspection system includes the power-driven vehicle safety inspection business information system and the motor vehicles periodic emissions inspection system. The functions of the power-driven vehicle safety inspection business information system shall meet the relevant requirements of GB/T 26765. The functions of the motor vehicles periodic emissions inspection system shall meet the relevant requirements of HJ 1238. The transmission of inspection data shall meet the relevant requirements of GB/T 26765 and HJ 1238.

4.1 Functional testing content
4.1.1 General
The motor vehicle inspection system includes the power-driven vehicle safety inspection business information system and the motor vehicles periodic emissions inspection system. The functions of the power-driven vehicle safety inspection business information system shall meet the relevant requirements of GB/T 26765. The functions of the motor vehicles periodic emissions inspection system shall meet the relevant requirements of HJ 1238. The transmission of inspection data shall meet the relevant requirements of GB/T 26765 and HJ 1238.
