Footwear for older people
1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, result judgment, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements of footwear for older people, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document is applicable to the production, inspection and sales of footwear (including boots) for older people.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions established in GB/T 24548 and GB/T 26779-2021 and the following apply.
3.1
footwear for older people; footwear for elderly people
shoes (including boots) designed and produced for daily wear according to the foot characteristics and wearing needs of the elderly
Note: Article 2 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of the Elderly specifies that "the elderly refer to citizens over 60 years of age".
4 Technical requirements
4.1 Style design
4.1.1 The upper should be fixed with movable buckle or adhesive belt structure or an easy-to-wear and take-off structure, and the tie strap structure with free end should not be adopted.
4.1.2 Reflective strips (belts) should be provided on the back or outer side of the shoe upper.
4.1.3 The toe cap should be round or wide.
4.2 Marking
The marking shall be the requirements of QB/T 2673.
4.3 Sensory quality
4.3.1 The complete shoe shall be upright, flat, clean, with an inner cushion that fits snugly, and the feather line shall be neat and tight.
4.3.2 There shall be no adhesive opening in the overall appearance.
