3 Terms and Definitions
No terms and definitions are required to be defined in this document.
4 Classification
Films are classified into PE-LD film, PE-LLD film, PE-MD film and PE-HD film according to the type of raw material with the largest proportion in the blend.
Films are divided into films for direct packaging and films used as substrates for composite films according to application.
According to slitting process, they are classified into slit-cut method and shear-cut method.
5 Requirements
5.1 Dimensions
5.1.1 Width Tolerance
The width tolerance of films for direct packaging (including width tolerance of folded width of tubular film, width tolerance of films slit by slit-cut method, width tolerance of films slit by shear-cut method) shall comply with Table 1.
The width tolerance of films used as substrates for composite films shall comply with Table 2.
5.1.2 Thickness Tolerance
Thickness tolerance shall comply with Table 3.
5.1.3 Number of Segments per Roll and Length per Segment
The length of each segment shall not be less than 200 m, and obvious marks shall be made at joints. The number of joints shall comply with Table 4.
5.2 Appearance
The appearance of films shall comply with Table 5. The appearance of film rolls shall comply with Table 6.
5.3 Physical and Mechanical Properties
Physical and mechanical properties shall comply with Table 7.
