This document is applicable to the design, construction and upgrade of interconnection network architecture for tire intelligent manufacturing enterprises.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
network architecture
overall design of a communication system that provides standards for network hardware, software, protocols, access control, and topology
3.2
field level
the lowest part of the decentralized control system, it is also the most basic level
Note: It includes production equipment, instrumentation, etc.
3.3
workshop level
relative functionally independent unit in the production process
Note: In the tire industry mainly refers to rubber mixing workshop, semi-product workshop, molding workshop, vulcanization workshop, testing workshop, etc., each production enterprise will be different according to the actual situation.
3.4
plant level
the whole factory of tire enterprise
Note: It includes design, production, logistics, management and other links.
3.5
network topology
physical layout of various devices interconnected by the transmission medium, which constitutes a specific physical, that is, real, or logical, that is, virtual arrangement among the members of the network
