1 Scope
This document describes the test method of apparent density for complete item of microcellular soles.
This document is applicable to the determination of apparent density for complete item of soles compounded from microporous materials and other materials.

4 Principle
The apparent density (hereinafter referred to as “density”) of the sample is calculated based on the mass of the sample in air and water, which is measured following the Archimedes’ principle.
