本标准规定了纸和纸板在120±2℃或150±2℃下的干热加速老化方法。本标准适用于高纯度纸如电器绝缘用纸，及类似的耐高温老化纸如文化用耐久纸等。本标准不适用于和自然老化有高度相关性的加速老化试验。一般文化用纸可采用GB 464.1的老化方法。
