1 General provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to improving the design level of softening and demineralization of industrial water and to achieving safety, reliability, advanced technology and economic rationality.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to design for new construction, extension and renovation of industrial water softening and demineralization system, and is not applicable to design of water pretreatment and wastewater treatment systems.
1.0.3 The design of industrial water softening and demineralization system shall comply with the following principles:
1 System selection and its layout shall be based on the main project planning capacity, production characteristics, etc. and determined by technical and economic comparison. When the construction is completed by stages, the design shall reserve the conditions for extension.
2 Supporting wastewater treatment facilities shall be established.
3 The design for extension or renovation of the industrial water softening and demineralization stations shall make rational use of the original facilities.
4 New process, new technology, new materials and new equipment shall be actively and cautiously used in combination with the specific conditions of the project.
1.0.4 In addition to this code, the design of softening and demineralization of industrial water shall also meet the requirements of the current relevant standards of the nation.
2 Terms
2.0.1 nanofiltration
membrane screening and filtration technology, with a filtration precision of 0.001 μm to 0.01 μm
2.0.2 electrodeionization
a method that combines electrodialysis with ion exchange to remove ion content in water and electrochemically regenerate ion exchange resin through the polarization phenomenon during electrodialysis by filling the fresh water chamber of the electrodialyzer with anion-cation exchange resin
2.0.3 softened water
water after removing most or all of the calcium and magnesium ions
3 Water treatment station
3.1 General requirements
3.1.1 In the general layout of plant area, the water treatment station shall meet the following requirements:
1 It shall be close to the main water user, and shall consider the laying of water source pipeline;
2 The transportation shall be convenient;
3 It shall be far away from places with flying dust such as coal yard and ash yard, and shall be located on the upwind side of the perennial prevailing wind direction where the structures emit harmful gases, smoke and water mist.
3.1.2 The water treatment station should be built independently or jointly with other buildings when conditions permit.
3.1.3 The water treatment station should be equipped with instrument control, chemical analysis, equipment maintenance, chemicals storage and auxiliary rooms. When there is a central laboratory and maintenance shop, the area of the auxiliary rooms can be reduced accordingly.
3.1.4 The extension project shall be designed and arranged in an overall way according to the original systems, equipment layout and actual operation conditions.
3.1.5 Facilities for preventing chemical damage shall be provided in the area where acid and alkali equipment is arranged.
3.2 Equipment layout
3.2.1 The equipment layout in the water treatment station shall meet the following requirements:
1 It shall be arranged in order according to the process flow;
2 It shall save land;
3 It shall reduce the noise interference to the main operating area;
