1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This standard was formulated with a view to unifying the basic terms and definitions of China's water supply and wastewater engineering construction and realizing the standardization of professional basic terms.
1.0.2 This Standard is applicable to the design, construction acceptance and operation management of water supply and wastewater engineering.
1.0.3 The terms relevant with water supply and wastewater engineering are not incorporated into this Standard shall meet the requirements of the relevant national standards and codes.
2 General Terms
2.0.1 Water supply engineering
It refers to the engineering of raw water collection, transmission, treatment and treated water supply and distribution.
2.0.2 Wastewater engineering, sewerage
It refers to the enginnering of wastewater and storm collection, transmission, treatment, and recycling and treatment.
2.0.3 Water supply system
It refers to the integrity composed by the correlation facilities of water supply engineering.
2.0.4 Wastewater engineering system
It refers to the integrity composed by the correlation facilities of wastewater engineering.
2.0.5 Wastewater system, sewage system
It refers to the wastewater system for collecting, transmitting, treating, recylcing and disposing wastewater.
2.0.6 Storm system
It refers to the wastewater system for collecting, transmitting, treating, recylcing and disposing storm
2.0.7 Central water supply
It refers to the water supply mode of sending water to users or public watering point through water transport and distribution pipe system after treatment of water is treated centrally from the water source.
2.0.8 Decentralized water supply
It refers to the water supply mode which decentralizes water taken from water source treated simply.
