1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to making technical advancement, economic feasibility and safety & health, and guaranteeing quality in the design, construction and acceptance of water supply polypropylene pipeline engineering for building.
1.0.2 This code is be applicable to the design, construction and acceptance of domestic water, hot water and drinking water clean piping systems for new, extended and rebuilt industrial and civil buildings. Water supply polypropylene pipelines for buildings shall not be connected with fire water supply pipeline in buildings.
The design pressure of random copolymerization polypropylene (PP-R) pipeline system should not be larger than 1.0 MPa, and the design temperature shall not be lower than 0℃ and not be higher than 70 ℃; the impact resistance copolymerization polypropylene (PP-B) pipeline system should not be larger than 1.0MPa and the design temperature shall not be lower than 0℃ and not be higher than 40℃.
1.0.3 Polypropylene pipes and pipe fittings applied in this code shall meet the requirements of the national standard "Polypropylene piping systems for hot and cold water installation" GB/T 18742.
1.0.4 The design, construction and acceptance of water supply polypropylene pipeline engineering for building shall meet the requirements of the relevant current standards and codes of the country and the industry, besides this code.
