1 General provisions
1.0.1 This standard is developed in order to unify the rules for general drawing of petrochemical enterprises, ensure the drawing quality, improve the drawing efficiency, and make the drawing clear and concise, meet the requirements of design, construction and filing, and meet the needs of engineering construction.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to drawings of general layout and transportation engineering for petrochemical enterprises.
1.0.3 In addition to this standard, the drawings of general layout for petrochemical enterprises shall also comply with those stipulated in the current relevant standards of the nation.

making comprehensive utilization of environmental conditions to reasonably determine the planimetric locations of all buildings, structures, equipment, transportation routes, utilities pipelines, greening and beautification on the site on the basis of the determined site and the overall planning of industrial enterprises, and in accordance with the requirements of production, use, safety, sanitation and others

vertical layout
carrying out vertical elevation design for natural landform of the site and for the buildings and structures
2.0.3
process unit
combination completing a complete production process according to the process flow, which includes main production area (including several production units), intermediate tank farm and shed, control and distribution room, sewage pretreatment and other facilities
3 Basic requirements
3.1 Drawing
3.1.1 According to the content, the drawing should be zoned into design configuration area, wind-rose diagram or north arrow area, legend area, table area, explanation area and title bar (Figure 3.1.1).
