本标准规定了船用电焊锚链及其附件的术语和定义、分类和标记、要求、试验方法、检验规则标志和贮存。 本标准适用于各类船舶所用的有档和无档锚链及附件的设计、制造和验收。 本标准代替ＧＢ／Ｔ５４９—１９９６《电焊锚链》和ＧＢ／Ｔ１４５２６—１９９３《船用转环卸扣》。
本标准与ＧＢ／Ｔ５４９—１９９６相比，主要有下列变化：
———增加了“术语和定义”一章；
———增加了三级无档链的要求；
———修改了锚链连接典型图示；
———修改了部分锚链及附件的尺寸；
