Technical specifications for centrifugal pumps (Class III) 1 Scope This standard specifies the terms and definitions, design, materials, factory inspection and test, and shipment preparation respecting centrifugal pumps (hereinafter referred to as pumps). This standard covers requirements for pumps of single stage, multistage, horizontal or vertical construction (coupled or close-coupled) with any drive and any installation for general application. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document.
