1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements and test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of general purpose lithium base grease for automobile.
This standard is applicable to the lubricating grease which is fabricated by thickening the mineral base oil with lithium fatty acid soap and adding into antioxidant and rust inhibiting additives.
The products meeting this standard are applicable to the lubrication for such frictional parts as automotive hub bearing, chassis and water pump which operate at a working temperature of -30℃~120℃.
