This national standard is identical to ISO 4310-1981, Cranes - Test Code and Procedures.
1. Application scope
This national standard specifies the tests and procedures of inspecting whether the crane is compliant to its working performance parameters and technical specifications or not as well as checking whether the crane can lift the rated load or not. For those cranes whose rated load is dependent on its stability, this national standard also specifies the test procedures and test load to check its stability.
This national standard is applicable to the following cranes:
a. Bridge crane;
b. Gantry crane,
c. Portal crane;
d. Mobile crane,
e. Tower crane,
f. Railway crane,
9. Cable crane,
h. Other cranes applicable to this national standard.
2. Test categories and prototype quantity
2.1 For the purpose to meet the requirements of this national standard, three tests below have to be carried out:
a. Crane characteristic qualification test, according to the provisions of Article 3.1,
b. Visual inspection, according to the provisions of Article 3.2;
c. Load lifting capability test, according to the provisions of Article 3.3.
2.2 All the cranes have to meet requirements of the aforesaid provisions, but for those mass-production cranes, the prototype quantity that are designed for the tests stated in Article 2.1 a and c shall be jointly agreed by both the supplier and the buyer.
2.3 Before delivery from the factory, the crane shall pass the in-house testing; for those cranes installed or assembled in the operation site, in-site tests have to be made if the supplier and the buyer have no other agreements hereof.
